When Will the Carnaby Christmas Lights Turn On?
Carnaby Street’s Christmas lights will go on on the 8th November 2022. This is the same day as some of London’s other popular Christmas lights, such as the Covent Garden Christmas decorations. The lights will cover Carnaby Street, Foubert’s Place, Ganton Street and Newburgh Street.
As Carnaby Street is celebrating its 25th year of Christmas lights, the switching on night is bound to be the best yet! Between 5pm and 9pm on 8th November you can expect a celebration with over 100 shops, bars, and restaurants joining in the celebration. There’ll be live music, discounts, and in-store activations – get your free ticket on Carany’s site.
Choose Love x Carnaby Street for Christmas
As with last year, 2022’s decorations are once again in collaboration with charity Choose Love. Choose Love advocate for and raise money for refugees around the world in need of urgent help. The charity will have a shop located at 15-17 Foubert’s Place, where they will be selling limited edition products, refugee gifting packages, and have frequent celebs popping in to serve customers.
Carnaby Christmas Lights 2022 Theme
To celebrate their 25th year of Christmas lights, Carnaby Street will see a return of some of their most loved previous decorations. The mix and match will see reappearances from Bohemian Rhapsody lyrics in neon, shining Rolling Stones tongues, a giant snowman, massive robins, palm trees, and underwater scenes.
