What is Libreria?

Libreria is an independent bookshop in East London. It was founded by Rohan Silva as a movement against the digital word and all the distractions that come with it. Phones are banned in this quiet bookshop to ensure that the peace is preserved for its customers and readers.

the bright yellow shelves stacked with books are the perfect place to switch off from the digital world

Whilst you won’t be able to Google the authors or books you see in front of you, the team at Libreria have carefully crafted the shelves to help inspire you. With themes around the shop to help guide you to your next favourite read, including labels like ‘wanderlust,’ you’re sure to leave feeling inspired.

The East London bookshop is narrow, but it has lots of carefully placed mirrors to give the illusion that it’s far larger than it really is. The store is decorated with mid-century furniture and bright yellow shelves stacked to the ceilings with tomes.
