Humble Crumble

If you’re a frequent visitor of The London Eats List, you’ll know that we are big fans of Humble Crumble. Serving up hot and delicious crumble (not just of the apple variety), in two of London’s best markets, as well as festive locations (such as South Bank’s Christmas Market). The London Christmas sweet treat on offer at this spot is not one to be missed.

At the Kerb National Theatre in 2022, Humble Crumble are serving up a Christmassy collaboration with the Chai Guys: mixed berries, topped with vegan dark chocolate and masala spiced crumble – perfect topped with a dose of vegan custard! You’ll also find a mince pie crumble on the menu at all locations, which can be topped with a pink Christmas tree marshmallow topper!

Peggy Porschen

A staple of Elizabeth Street in Belgravia – Peggy Porschen brings the festive cheer every year with her delectable Christmas range. This year there is a whole host of Christmassy cake flavours, as well as stunning iced festive biscuits. We stopped by ourselves recently and tried the vegan and gluten free chocolate orange cake, the spiced winter berries, and the gingerbread cupcake – all as delicious as each other – a perfect London Christmas sweet treat! You can also find Peggy Porschen on the King’s Road in Chelsea, where all the festive delights will also be available.

Crosstown

One of our favourite doughnut stops in the city has not come to play this festive season. Crosstown’s festive biscuit offering consists of two flavours, chocolate and hazelnut, and cinnamon and blackberry. Whilst their London Christmas sweet treats in the form of donuts have certainly impressed us: black forest cake, chestnut and brown butter, and pear and ginger!

Buns from Home

Buns from Home are known for their weekly specials, and so we were expecting something big for the festive season. The team at this iconic London bakery have really outdone themselves with their Christmas offerings of treats. From their stunning – and equally delicious – mince pie buns, to their rotation of weekend special, including the cutest chocolate gingerbread bun we’ve ever seen!

Biscuiteers

Known across the UK for their stunning hand iced biscuits, Biscuiteers are a staple to London’s Christmas sweet treat offerings. From beautifully designed, and delectable, biscuits that display everything from The Nutcracker, to Christmas trees, and snowmen. If you pop into one of their cafes, either in Notting Hill or Belgravia, you’re likely to find some scrumptious Christmas cupcakes topped with a miniature festive biscuit too!

Longboys

Seven Dials Market is the spot to be if you’re looking for festive food to suit a fussy group. Here you’ll find Longboys, a delicious London doughnut company serving up wonderful Christmas sweet treats to indulge in. They have 3 festive flavours: The Christmas Pudding, The Chocolate Orange, and The Mont Blanc. You can also find them located at Coal Drops Yard, Box Park Wembley, and the Harrods and Selfridges food halls.

Bread Ahead

One of London’s most loved bakeries, Bread Ahead are best known for their decadent doughnuts (there’s a common theme occurring amongst our most loved London Christmas sweet treats). For the holiday season this year they’ve brought out a gingerbread flavoured doughnut, complete with its very own gingerbread man! No Christmas sweet treats list would be complete without a mince pie however – and they are also one of the top spots in the city to pick up this festive must have!

Gail’s

Gail’s – there’s never one far away when you’re in London, and they do have the most delicious pastries and cakes on offer. With a few London Christmas sweet treats on offer here, you’ll have plenty to choose from: Christmas buns, mince pies, and festive biscuits! We’ll have ours to go with a warming chai latte!

Wheelcake Island

Wheelcake Island has locations in Seven Dials and Spitalfield Market. They are London’s Wheelcake expert, offering delicious cakes (reminiscent of super thick pancakes) stuffed with delicious filling. For their London Christmas sweet treat offering they’ve stuffed their cakes with a chocolate and vanilla custard, with candied orange bits – delicious!

Connaught Patisserie

The Connaught Patisserie in the heart of Mayfair, creates some of the most spectacular cakes in the whole of London. Each year they bring out a limited edition Connaughty Hounds, made with a crunchy pecan praline. These are almost too gorgeous to eat!

Enjoy Your Christmas Treat with a Festive Beverage

London isn’t just incredible at delicious treats, but also knows how to bring the A-game when it comes to Christmas drinks. From Christmas cocktails in bars such as Mr Foggs, to some of the best hot chocolates you’ll ever have, to London’s mulled wine offerings. Don’t eat your cake, doughnut, or biscuit alone – pair it with a delicious drink to help it on its way down!
